The President of the SR Zuzana Čaputová visited the neighborhood in Kecerovce
On March 29, 2023, the President of the SR Zuzana Čaputová visited our emerging neighborhood in the village of Kecerovce. Her steps led directly to the new house of our builder Marta. The president was interested in the progress of the program – what the self-help construction program is based on, who are the key partners, how the whole process of building a new street works in practice.
Her sincere interest was directed towards the story of Marta and Dušan’s family, they´re one of the twelve current builders in the Kecerovce area. The purpose of the visit is primarily to make examples of best practice visible and to use them in the planning of national strategies focused on the issue of housing for marginalized communities.
